 André Pieterse: André co-wrote and produced e'Lollipop after his return to South Africa from Los Angeles, where he had served as Executive Vice-President of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer International, Inc.
Having co-founded South Africa's two cinema chains - Ster Films (1962) and Metro Cinemas (1973) - as well as serving as CEO of Columbia Theatres, Inc. in Atlanta, André has a long history in the motion picture industry.
He has co-written several screenplays including When the Lion Feeds (based on the best-selling novel by Wilbur Smith), The Word of a Gentlemen (based on the life of David Livingstone) and Zoyatchka (based on the book, The Admiral's Daughter, written by Victoria Fyodorova and Haskel Frankel).
Another of André's more notable productions, albeit of another sort, is South Africa's premier residential golf venue - Fancourt Hotel & Country Club Estate - which he founded and developed.

Ashley Lazarus: After co-writing and directing e'Lollipop, Ashley went on to enjoy an international award-winning career as film director.
Capitalising on what critics have called "a stunningly visual eye", he has worked with over 100 companies and organisations to articulate their identities and messages through the medium of film. Ashley is a communicator who seeks to portray the essence of a subject, product or story in the most compelling way. His blend of experience and perfectionism has made him an internationally respected director and cinematographer of nearly 1000 commercials, 20 documentaries and one feature film.
Ashley has lived and worked in New York since the early 1980s. He has recently relocated to Israel, although his film company, Cinevision USA, still has a busy office in New York City.
